Sales Officer

Overview:

The Sales Officer is a crucial role within our organization, responsible for driving sales and contributing to the company's bottom line. This role plays a key part in identifying potential clients, streamlining sales (both primary and secondary) and maintaining customer relationships to meet and exceed sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Identifying and appointing new distributors in the assigned areas/districts.

Creating and implementing effective sales strategies.

Meeting and exceeding sales targets.

Negotiating and closing sales deals.

Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships.

Providing excellent customer service and addressing customer inquiries and concerns.

Preparing sales reports and forecasts.

Managing a portfolio of accounts and maintaining accurate documentation.

Participating in sales meetings and training sessions.

Contributing to the continuous improvement of the sales process.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.

Prior experience in sales or a similar role, preferably snacks and beverages (FMCG) industry

Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.

Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Excellent understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Exceptional time management and organizational skills.

Knowledge of market research techniques and databases.

Ability to travel as needed.
