LN - General Support/Field Inspection/GIS Specialist (AUG) - Lead

Objective:

The field inspector utilizes Quality, Environmental, GIS process, and procedures to conduct audit and inspections to ensure compliance with PWS contractual specifications as environmental, general waste and HAZMAT requirements specify, and the reporting of findings into data charts and reports. The following summary applies:

Knowledge of computer operations, software applications, and mathematics; including algebra, geometry

-Experience in implementing corrections from Non-Compliance Reports, Audits

-Criteria for evaluation/inspection of infrastructure and conditions (for Waste Management, Water and Wastewater, Hazmat/HAZWASTE classification, storage and/or disposal)

-Experience and working knowledge in project formulation, sizing and documenting specifications and providing estimations

-Criteria for evaluation/inspection of infrastructure and Environmental conditions for storm water, sewer systems, lead, and asbestos management.

-Ability to update Environmental infrastructure Maps and drawings (CAD, MS Visio, GIS, other)

-Knowledge of Energy & Water Audits, and projects

-Knowledge & Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance plans

-Experience in Inspections/audits and compliance reporting

-Experience in Performance Reporting

The use 9001-2008 specification, to CAPA, (corrective action, preventative action) they enforce applicable regulations. Inspectors monitor all phases of maintenance operations, shipping and receiving, office services by measuring conformity within AQL, KPI or PWS standards. The inspector will additionally review ongoing work for workmanship and completeness, ensuring all services within the performance requirement summary are satisfactory.

They will set schedules in specified areas, (scheduled and unscheduled) and how often inspections will be accomplished; communicates deficiencies to the proper people; maintains quality control files; and documents results of all inspections.

This position is associated with a maintenance or service, typically, the inspector has prior experience or knowledge of a trades or service.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture/Engineering (local degrees meeting criteria)

-Knowledge of computer operations, software applications, and mathematics; including algebra, geometry- understanding of GIS systems

Licenses/Certifications:

Micro-Soft office suite preferred.

Netware/Cloud storage/Share-point entries experience preferred.

Experience:

Person must have at least 3 years of experience working in a similar job, understanding GIS systems and the use of overlays.

Other Qualifications:

This position requires. A valid Honduran driving license, Bi-lingual (English and Spanish)
