About this PositionAt Texas Mutual, we're creating a stronger, safer Texas. As a Claims Adjuster, you will contribute to our mission by conducting claim investigations and administering benefits to injured workers and their beneficiaries observing the Texas Workers' Compensation Act, rules of the Division of Workers’ Compensation (DWC), and corporate procedures. Your reserving authority will be consistent with your experience and you will report to the Claims Supervisor. Responsibilities & Qualifications

In This Role You Will:

Administer workers' compensation benefits to injured workers.

Conduct investigations for coverage and compensability, establish appropriate reserves, and make appropriate recommendations on claims.

Manage established claims on an ongoing basis.

Ensure regulatory compliance and proper handling of claims.

Demonstrate a high level of proficiency in claim file management and customer service.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent education, training, or experience

Current Texas workers' compensation or all lines adjuster license.

Experience working Texas Workers Compensation claims (or equivalent education, training, or experience) as follows:

0-2 years of experience for an Adjuster I

2-4 years of experience for an Adjuster II

4 or more years of experience for a Senior Adjuster

Preferred Qualifications:

Texas-specific workers' compensation claims experience.
