We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer or Administrator with extensive experience working with Nexus networking technologies to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure, with a focus on Nexus switches and related technologies. This role requires strong technical expertise in configuring and troubleshooting Nexus switches, along with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support the organization's networking needs.

Responsibilities:

Design, deploy, and maintain network infrastructure using Cisco Nexus switches, routers, and related technologies.

Configure and troubleshoot Nexus switches to ensure optimal network performance, reliability, and scalability.

Implement network security measures, including access control, firewall policies, and intrusion detection/prevention systems, on Nexus platforms.

Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate network infrastructure with servers, storage, and other systems.

Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues using network monitoring tools and protocols.

Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as software upgrades, patch management, and backup/restore procedures, on Nexus devices.

Develop and maintain documentation, diagrams, and procedures related to network infrastructure and configurations.

Provide technical support and assistance to end-users and other IT teams as needed.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in networking, particularly related to Nexus technologies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent certification preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Network Engineer, with a focus on Cisco Nexus switches.

In-depth knowledge of Nexus switch configuration, including VLANs, VRFs, STP, VPC, FabricPath, and NX-OS.

Strong understanding of network protocols and technologies, such as TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, and QoS.

Experience with network security concepts and technologies, including ACLs, Firewalls, VPNs, and Security Groups.

Proficiency in network monitoring and troubleshooting tools, such as Wireshark, SNMP, NetFlow, and Syslog.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Experience with cloud networking platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, is a plus.
