Plumber / Heating Engineer Location: Cambridge Salary: A GBP 29,605 : A GBP 37,099 per annum Our client has an opportunity for a qualified plumber/heating engineer to join the Colleges maintenance department.

The Role The post:holder will take responsibility for planning and executing all plumbing and associated work on the College site and at the Colleges associated external properties in and around Cambridge.

For a conscientious professional with the appropriate skills and who enjoys a challenge, this role offers the scope to contribute to the maintenance and upkeep of the Colleges unique buildings.

The maintenance team is a team of eight (including this post), led by the Maintenance Manager, and the work is varied over a broad range of historical buildings.

As well as being responsible for all the plumbing and heating requirements, the role entails keeping up to date with the on:line fault reporting system, liaising with contract tradesmen, responding to urgent jobs including being available for emergency callouts on an agreed basis and supporting the overall work of the department.
