Experienced Metal Fabricator / Welder

Job Description

Oregon Metal Fabrication is a fabrication shop with a 20 year reputation of quality that specializes in industrial and commercial fabrication. We take pride in our work, and are continually innovating and improving our manufacturing and fabrication process. The shop balances an enjoyable atmosphere and a fast pace work environment. We are currently looking to fill another working lead position. This position will complete fabrication tasks while also overseeing tasking and quality of their crew. This is a fulltime position with the possibility of overtime depending on work load.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

Extensive experience in not only welding, but every phase of metal fabrication

Maturity, professionalism, and leadership

Attention to detail and ability to layout per provided prints

Pride in work, seeking quality and precision

Ability to manage workflow and correct procedures to ensure quality

General skills required:

GMAW, FCAW, GTAW (optional)

Cutting operation experience (Oxy / Plasma / Carbon Arc)

Hand tools (grinder, drill, mag drill, etc.)

Machine operations - Iron worker, Shear, Etc.

Rigging and Crane operations

Layout, fitting, and fixture building for repeatable assembly

Determining optimal weld procedures Bonus Skills:

CWI / Quality Control

Robotic Welding
