Chemical Applications Engineer

Salary: $80,000 - 100,000/year The Applications Engineer offers client assistance for timely technical implementation of new products.

This position involves providing technical support in nanocomposite formulations for OLED displays, optical components for AR/VR/MR, and other emerging technologies.

Responsibilities

Independently devises and executes project plans for specific clients, monitors progress, and suggests/takes corrective actions to stay on schedule.

Allocates approximately 50 to 75% of time to lab work, allowing for non-lab activities like data management, analysis, and client meetings.

Resolves significant client issues, including creating action plans.

Provides technical aid to key clients to support business expansion efforts for new product commercialization.

Develops, documents, and communicates technical insights into client applications and product requirements to the product development team.

Initiates and develops new products.

Supports product management and marketing communications with product claims, literature, application notes, and manuals.

Requirements

Master's degree, preferably in an engineering or scientific field.

Minimum of two (2) years of demonstrated experience in client-facing, specification-driven product roles.

Industry background in LED, packaging, OLED, or display technologies.

Industrial experience with diverse polymeric systems.

Industrial experience with various film coating methods.
