Kavaliro's client is seeking a Sr Project Manager.

Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Initiation:

Develop comprehensive project plans, defining scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables.

Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of project requirements.

PMP Methodology:

Apply Project Management Professional (PMP) principles and methodologies to ensure effective project execution.

Lead project teams in adherence to PMP best practices and standards.

IT Infrastructure Expertise:

Leverage deep knowledge of IT infrastructure to oversee the planning and implementation of technology projects.

Collaborate with IT teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals and technology standards.

Stakeholder Communication:

Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with business objectives.

Facilitate regular project status meetings and provide timely updates.

Resource Management:

Allocate resources effectively to meet project objectives.

Collaborate with department managers to secure necessary resources and expertise.

Risk Management:

Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing challenges to ensure successful project outcomes.

Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.

Quality Assurance:

Implement quality assurance measures to ensure the delivery of high-quality IT infrastructure solutions.

Conduct regular project reviews to assess performance against established benchmarks.

Budget Management:

Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial constraints.

Monitor and report on budgetary performance throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as an IT Project Manager, with a focus on IT infrastructure projects.

PMP certification is required.

In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure technologies, systems, and best practices.

Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Experience with budget management and resource allocation.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
