District 37 Kitchen & Taphouse is a brand-new restaurant opening in North Tonawanda opening its doors this spring!

We are currently looking for Bartenders to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating and serving a wide variety of beverages to our guests, ensuring their satisfaction, and enhancing their overall dining experience.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve a diverse range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and specialty drinks, in accordance with established recipes and standards.

Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and making recommendations based on their preferences.

Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including stocking and replenishing supplies, glassware, and garnishes.

Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere.

Ensure responsible alcohol service by verifying the age and identification of guests and refusing service to intoxicated individuals.

Collaborate with the kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to guests.

Process guest payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash transactions and operating the point-of-sale system.

Upsell additional menu items and promote specials or promotions to maximize sales and enhance the guest experience.

Stay updated on current beverage trends, new products, and industry developments to provide innovative and unique offerings to our guests.

Adhere to all safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Knowledge of different types of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and spirits

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and interact with guests in a positive and professional manner.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Attention to detail and accuracy in preparing and serving beverages.

Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with other staff members.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Must be at least 21 years old.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Continuously bend, reach, twist and use your hands and arms.

Able to lift 80 pounds at a time.
