Reports to: Manager, Quality, on-site in Ogden Utah

Responsibilities

Safe, efficient, and effective cleaning of production equipment, processing rooms and adjacent areas.

Perform swabbing (ATP, Environmental) of equipment and areas in support of site sanitation and other assigned programs.

Follow good manufacturing practices (GMPs) to ensure food safety, work safety, and food defense.

Follow the approved sanitary methods in accordance with food safety requirements.

Ensure safety precautions are followed in performing your responsibilities

Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities

Must be able to read, write, and speak English specific to work instructions including but not limited to safety purposes.

Highschool, GED, or equivalent diploma required

Regularly time and attendance

Experience in food manufacturing within a GMP environment

Knowledge of sanitation practices for industrial cleaning chemicals and food safety related practices

Physical Requirements

Must be 18 years or older.

Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force at times and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects

Ability to work in cold and hot environments (approximately 38F-80F degrees)

Ability to repeat motions that may include use of the wrists, hands and/or fingers, and standing or sitting for prolonged periods (average 8-12 hours)
