Salary: 65k-90k BOE
TDEC, a nationally recognized Business Processing Organization (BPO), seeks an experienced Project Manager for a client in our Elizabeth City, NC office.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Organizes and assigns responsibilities to subordinates and oversees the successful completion of all assigned IT tasks.
Must be familiar with all phases of the systems development life cycle (SELC).
Functions as the liaison between the government and contractors.
Prepare documents that guide the performance of all development, functional and technical activities performed.
Perform tasks focused on the leadership and/or task management of information systems engineering or systems integration projects preferred.
Provides technical direction for the complete system development effort.
May serve as a technical authority for a design or problem area.
Anticipates problems and works to mitigate the anticipated problems.
Identifies and resolves unique systems problems using new technology.
Schedules and assigns duties to subordinates.
Ensures that tasks are completed within estimated cost and schedule.
Interacts with Contactor/Government management personnel issuing written and/or oral reports.
Ensures the development, maintenance and implementation of Program Management Plans and Technical Specifications Plan; documents that guide the performance of all functional and technical activities performed.
Experience Required:
US Citizenship
Six (6) years of experience providing technical direction and Project Management.
Three (3) years supervisory experience in addition to the six (6) years of experience listed above.
Bachelor’s Degree or an A.A/A.S. in related field and an IT Certification (ex. PMP).
Experience Preferred:
Experience performing tasks focused on the leadership and/or task management of information systems engineering or systems integration projects
