Animal Medical Center is seeking an outgoing, highly motivated Love at First Sight team member with exceptional people skills to join our Love at First Sight team. This is a full-time position averaging 35 hours per week. Please see schedule requirements under What Skills Do I Need section.

WHAT ARE THE DUTIES OF A LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT TEAM MEMBER?

As a Love at First Sight team member you will continue to establish excellence in pet healthcare by:

Answer multiple telephone lines with proper Animal Medical Center greeting, in a cheerful tone; answer inquiries on telephone about puppies in the center

Directing phone calls to proper team members and ensuring messages taken are followed through

Accurate filing of Love at First Sight patient records

Learn and utilize Cornerstone veterinary software for invoicing

Work closely and respectfully with other team members in the veterinary practice to ensure a positive client experience

Organize and maintain cleanliness in Love at First Sight - This position is primarily the cleaning position with some shifts in sales

Educate pet owners about Animal Medical Center services and products according to the standards of Animal Medical Center.WHAT ABILITIES ARE IMPORTANT FOR THIS POSITION?

Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills both written and verbal

Love people as much as you love pets

Available to rotate shifts on weekends and holidays

Applicants should be available for the following time frame for shifts: 6:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. Weekends and holidays are required

Access to internet to receive schedule and communication emails from Animal Medical Center

Able to move from sit to stand frequently. Be able to lift up to 40 pounds.

Be a career minded individual looking for a profession in veterinary customer servicePreferred skill is previous veterinary experience, however, it is not required

WHAT OTHER THINGS DO I NEED TO KNOW?

All applicants must be authorized to work in the United States now and in the future

Hourly pay is commensurate with experience

The work schedule can be demanding: opening shifts, closing shifts, weekends, and holidays
