Salary:
WWCM has an opening for an experienced Technical Program Manager. The Technical Program Manager will be responsible for mission systems integration and other capabilities in the areas of sensing, effects, as well as, command, control, communications and intelligence systems, that consider cybersecurity and a host of additional mission support NextGen services.
The successful candidate will lead software engineering projects and influence teams that design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software. The Technical Program Manager (PM) will plan requirements, identify risks, manage schedules, and communicate clearly with project stakeholders.
The Technical PM will work across several software development teams. The right candidate for this role should be highly ambitious, able to organize both ideas and people, and excel at problem-solving of all kinds. This role requires one to be able to break down complex problems into steps that drive rapid product development.
Deliverables:
Manage the priorities of one or more development teams, balancing feedback from product and engineering stakeholders
Track project schedule and completeness, identify and mitigate risks, and communicate progress clearly to key stakeholder
Understand the needs of dependent engineering teams and define requirements as necessary
Engage closely with the engineering team to help determine the best technical implementation methods, and reasonable implementation schedule
Minimum Requirements:
5+ years of program management experience
In depth knowledge of Agile development practices and tools
Experience in leading projects with end-to-end ownership and knowledge of Technical Program Management tools
BA/BS in Computer Science, Statistics, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
Desired Qualifications:
Prior experience at a tech company
Ability to break down a product or feature into the technical teams and systems involved and their dependencies
Ability to be an influential member of a highly integrated team composed of both technical and non-technical members
PMP/Scrum Master/Release Train Engineering experience
Experience building processes, program management, and release schedules
Experience with DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines
Experience in software development and familiar with Jira, Github, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, MySQL, Python, Service Oriented Architectures, and AWS (preferred)
Ability to communicate to both technical and non-technical audiences
