2nd Shift - Machine Operator (Thermoforming)

Job Description

Work Now Staffing is looking to hire Machine Operators (Thermoforming) for our Clearwater, FL client.

Pay: $16.50 per hour

Shift: 2nd - 2:45pm - 11:30pm, Monday - Friday

Job Details:

Utilize and maintain the functionality of the thermoformers, as well run all band saws when required

Increase process efficiency by ensuring parts that do not meet standard are addressed, as well as checking the cut on the saw

Buffing and folding parts, as well as putting molds away, when time allows

Installing new molds, as required, to complete production schedule

Correctly complete daily production orders and reports

Other duties and assignments as required

Qualifications/Requirements:

1 - 2 years of relevant experience preferred

Self-motivated and able to identify, examine, and resolve issues independently from others

Hold a strong regard for guidelines, procedures and integrity

Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, and quality control for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods

In-depth knowledge of thermoforming and making adjustments to maximize machine run time

Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, and maintenance

Tools include: allen keys, wrenches, hammers, band cutting shears, horizontal band saw

This position requires basic skills (Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups.)

This position requires minimal skills (add, subtract, etc.)
