Salary for this position ranges between 65k-75k per year with full benefits.

Job Summary

Aircraft Production Supervisor will coordinate teams of technicians and make sure aircraft assembly and/or repairs are completed in a timely manner. A Production Supervisor will oversee a team of technicians, repairmen, fabricators, welders, machinists, painters, and assemblers, as well as inspect work to make sure standards have been met, provide support and advice with issues, and coordinate the maintenance of equipment.

To be able to read and understand Engineering Drawings, and process specs. To be able to train

employees in the best means to manufacture and assemble the components that make up the

airplane that conform to our type design and engineering drawing. Must be able to communicate and

show examples on the best technique and use of tools needed for the job. To meet schedule delivery

dates and deadlines with all means possible. To assure all wings and control surfaces are built and

delivered with Thrush Aircraft Value. Note that although this role description includes your primary

responsibilities, it is not inclusive. Your role is, in fact, to support all other functions within the Thrush

organization.

Essential Job Functions

Assign and lead daily tasks that align with the production schedule

Bring to the attention of your supervisor as quickly as possible any issues that may arise

Ability to read and follow work instructions, understand customer specifications, blueprints & drawings.

Ability to support several improvement projects at one time

Ability to assign task's utilizing team strengths to meet efficiency requirements

Ability to assist in the development of training programs and utilize team members to train to individual strengths

Skills and Abilities

Excellent Written and Verbal communication skills

Broad knowledge of production planning processes

Strategic planning skills

Able to deal with complex issues in a fast-paced setting

Self-motivated with a results-driven approach

Ability to problem solve

Leadership experience

Ability to lead a team to meet critical schedules and resolve technical issues

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications

Ability to understand aircraft work instructions

Education and Experience

At least 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment

Proven ability to lead and coordinate other mechanics

Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools

Knowledge of manufacturing processes and shop efficiency is preferred

Organizational and leadership abilities

Communication and interpersonal skills
