The department Daily Banking & Mobile Led

For our tribe Daily Banking & Mobile Led, we are offering you the opportunity to join one of our multi-disciplined squads within the Identity, Onboarding & Outreach Product space to help us shape the future of our onboarding journeys! The Identity, Onboarding & Outreach area provides an exciting mix of direct customer interaction and fast evolving technology with a clear aim to provide the best (first) customer impression while also preventing financial economic crime.

The team Identity, Onboarding & Outreach

At Identity, Onboarding & Outreach we are responsible for onboarding approximately 300.000 new ING retail customers per year. With 5 multi-disciplined squads we welcome all retail customers and manage both mobile onboarding as well as onboarding via our assisted channels and provide onboarding capabilities to other domains such as Mortgages and Business Banking. We continuously explore, release, and test new features to provide safe processes that delight our customers. We do this in constant dialogue with our colleagues at Product fulfilment, KYC, Digital & Customer Interactions, Fraud & Cybersecurity and Customer Data. A superior customer experience and conversion optimalization are key to move forward.

Roles and responsibilities

You will work as a Product Manager. In this role you need to create superior customer flows, for which you need an understanding of customer needs and affinity with IT. Furthermore you always need to adhere to necessary risk and compliance controls. As a Product Manager you:

Take ownership of your team’s processes, including vision, ideation, development, launch, growth, and maintenance.

Conduct user research and analysis to gain a deep understanding of the needs of our customers and/ or employees and identify areas of improvement.

You understand the need to comply with regulations and policies but dare to debate options

You can balance optimal customer value and profitability for ING

You are proactive and like to work in a multidisciplinary team in an agile environment to make ideas and improvements come to life

You give and ask constructive feedback and foster an environment in which you and your colleagues can excel

This Short Term Assignments will provide you with very challenging assignments both regarding to content, stakeholder management and (IT)delivery. Major customer impact is garanteed! Furthermore it provides you with an opportunity to work with and get acquinted with the team consisting of very professional and driven colleagues.

How to succeed

You are:

Master or Bachelor degree

Relevant experience in a product delivery/management, business process/analyst or consultant role

Experience in exploring customer needs and skills to bridge IT and business

A curious mindset for the underlying application architecture, relevant IT landscape and technologies across different business units and outside ING

Realization skills, able to take on a challenge and make it happen

Strong analytical skills and take decisions based on data and facts

Strong project management skills and ability to present work to stakeholders

Fluent in English and a professional working proficiency in Dutch (both verbally and written) C1 or C2 level
