Job Description
This role will require access to access information controlled under the Export Administration Regulations (EAR, 15 CFR §§ 730-780),and likely the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR, 22 CFR §§ 120-130), and so applicants for this position must be one of a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or other Protected Individual (as defined under 8 USC § 1324b(a)(3)).
JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Product Manager (PM) is responsible for managing a portfolio of products through the entire Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) process, from kick-off through obsolescence. The PLM process is critical in managing the portfolio and maximizing the overall return-on-investment for the business. This senior position has substantial responsibility and visibility within the company. This role will be integral to the formulation of product strategy and championing of new product development. Further, the position is critical in the definition of product roadmaps by articulating the technical needs of the customer base to deliver next generation solutions. The PM role is the internal Marki Microwave interface between the engineering and the business teams and is critical in facilitating product trade-offs to efficiently support the business needs. The PM will also be critical in the development of the sales collaterals to support the sales channel in successfully positioning and selling the Marki Microwave products. This may include providing training to the regional rep network, distribution and reseller partners.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Actively manage the product portfolio
New Product and Roadmap definition ensuring that product justifications are well researched and structured for maximum market penetration and growth.
Business case generation
Competitive analysis to ensure Marki products stay differentiated and add significant customer value
Collaborating with the various departments to determine which products to kick-off, support the product release process and ultimately manage the product obsolescence
Manage the overall pricing strategy at the portfolio level
Market segment modelling and trend analysis.
Creation of all sales collateral materials to support the Marki Channel
Internal materials: Product sell sheets
External materials: Product overview slides, Roadmaps, Success stories to drive customer understanding of Marki’s technology and capabilities.
Development of product training and education materials
REQUIREMENTS
Master of Science Degree or PhD in Engineering, Sales, Marketing or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
3-5 years of prior RF/Microwave industry experience
Ability to travel when required
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
RF/Microwave product knowledge
Prior experience designing RF/Microwave products or developing related applications circuits is a plus
Experience developing product MRDs, roadmaps and design requirements.
Familiarity with the RF/Microwave market segment
Excellent communications skills, verbal and in writing
Effective planning, time management and prioritization skills
Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
Excellent presentation skills
