Our client is a full-service helicopter leasing business supporting industries including offshore oil and gas, medical transport, search and rescue, utility, and executive transport. With a team of experienced leasing professionals, they provide tailored financing solutions for helicopter operators worldwide.

They are currently seeking an experienced analyst to support risk management, credit, and pricing functions. This will be an excellent opportunity for an experienced analyst with two or more years of work experience to get broad exposure across finance functions in a growth environment.

A Day In The Life of a Credit Analyst

As a Credit Analyst, you will ensure the risks and rewards of a given transaction in the company's overall portfolio are understood and risks mitigated as much as possible. Along with the team, you are also responsible for articulating risk/reward trade-offs. Finally, the team is responsible for providing an independent perspective on clients / potential clients, both before the company enters into a transaction and over the course of our relationship with them.

Essential Responsibilities of The Credit Analyst

Conducting credit research and analysis for potential acquisitions/leases, including financial statement analysis and modeling

Prepare annual credit reviews for the global customer base

Complete extensive due diligence and KYC checks for new customers

Developing spreadsheet tools to support the Company’s risk management, credit analysis, and aircraft valuation functions

Creating and maintaining reporting tools to track and monitor customer credit status and the valuation and performance of the assets in the portfolio

Identify and proactively manage “at risk” clients and help maintain Credit-Watch material

Preparing market analyses, including creating databases with inputs from market transactions and other data points

Developing relationships with the finance teams of potential customers and maintaining those relationships with existing customers

Compose pitch presentations, collaborating with cross-functional teams for Board approval of new aircraft deliveries, acquisitions, sales, and lease transactions

Various projects as needed by management

Position Requirements:

Formal Education

Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in an analytical field such as finance, accounting, or engineering (other majors considered with appropriate work experience)

Knowledge & Experience

At least two years of work experience in a similar analytical role

Good understanding of asset-based finance and/or aircraft leasing industry

Advanced Excel skills (modeling and valuation)

PowerPoint skills

Experience utilizing Bloomberg Terminal and Salesforce is desirable
