Graphic Designer - VM

POSITION OBJECTIVE

This job holder will be responsible for translating and transferring of ideas / concepts / designs into in-store communication artworks for stores, window displays, mall displays, etc;. Developing effective & distinct visual designs & layouts for signages & promotions.

DO — Key Responsibilities

1.

Creative Solutions

· Understand the visual merchandising and business needs

· Create designs, concepts and sample layouts based on knowledge of layout principles and aesthetic design concepts

· Innovate ideas / themes in graphical form for various requirements coming from the visual merchandising team

· Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy

· Create graphics and layouts for promotion danglers, display & product signage, etc

· Review final layouts and suggest improvements as needed

· Design proposals and artwork for window kits, guidelines, promotions and training material

2.

Miscellaneous

· Research and keep abreast of the latest designs and graphic flows

· Coordinate and assist in the execution of large format printing including colour and profile management

· Oversee the printing needs

· Maintain large format printers (if applicable)

· Keep abreast of the latest trends, tools and technologies in Graphic Design
