About The Role:
Intermedia is looking for its next Sr. DevOps Engineer to join a growing and high-pace environment, while working within a great team culture that supports each other. In this role, you will be a part of the Email+ DevOps team who’s main focus revolves around supporting, maintaining and upgrading the Windows and Linux services which drive our mail products. If you are looking to further expand, build and challenge yourself in the career of a DevOps Engineer – this role is for you!
What you will be doing:
Operate, maintain, and improve QA, staging and production application infrastructure
Work with Development to influence design, development and deployment for reliability and scalability
Build CI/CD pipelines for team's projects
Deploy and maintain logging, monitoring and alerting systems
Analyze usage and utilization trends to make appropriate design and implementation recommendations
Identify and troubleshoot performance and stability issues; assist engineering team in troubleshooting of production issues
Analyze the error streams from various sources
Actively participate in Postmortem / RCA for incidents
Participation in on-call rotation
What you will bring to the role:
4 - 5+ years of experience at SRE, DevOps or System Engineer position
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
Good understanding of Windows OS (networking, file systems, system tools, PowerShell)
Knowledge of Linux OS systems
Experience with Ansible, Chef, Terraform, etc.
Knowledge of CI/CD systems Octopus, TFS, Jenkins, Gitlab, TeamCity, etc.
Good understanding of open source server software such as NGINX, RabbitMQ, ElasticSearch, Graylog
Experience with monitoring and logging systems (ELK, Zabbix, Graphite, Prometheus, etc.)
Scripting skills: PowerShell, Bash, Perl, Python, etc.
Experience with version control and bug tracking systems (Git, Jira)
Ability to work across teams and across disciplines (Development, QA, Sysadmins, Network engineers and etc.)
Good written and spoken English language
Ability to communicate complex ideas in English
Bonus Skills:
Knowledge of TFS, Octopus CI/CD systems
Knowledge of C#, .Net, PowerShell
Experience with public clouds AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm
