Safety Specialist

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a general contractor located in Chandler. This company is in search of a safety specialist to join their team on a full time basis. The schedule for this job is Monday-Friday 5am-3:15pm, fully in office or in the field. To be considered for this job, you must be OHSA 500 certified and possess at least 2 years of safety experience. Hourly rate is between $30/hr-$36/hr DOE.

The position involves a dynamic mix of fieldwork and office responsibilities, with approximately 80% of your time spent in the field and 20% in the office. A significant portion of fieldwork will be conducted in clean room settings, so comfort and familiarity with such environments are essential.

Responsibilities:

Conduct regular safety inspections and audits in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Identify potential hazards and develop strategies to minimize risks.

Implement safety protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.

Provide safety training to employees and contractors.

Investigate accidents and incidents, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Maintain accurate records and reports related to safety activities.

Requirements:

High school diploma is required. Some college is preferred

2+ years of safety experience

OSHA 500 or OSHA 510 certification is required.

Proven experience in occupational health and safety, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry best practices.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong Excel skills, as well as experience with BlueBeam or Procore.

Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

Pay Details: $30.00 to $36.00 per hour
