Position Overview: We are currently looking for a talented and experienced Large Equipment Mechanic to perform maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on our fleet of heavy construction equipment. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our equipment, contributing to the overall success of our construction projects.

Responsibilities:

Conduct routine inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of heavy construction equipment, including but not limited to excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and graders.

Perform preventative maintenance to ensure equipment longevity and optimal performance.

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

Collaborate with the maintenance team to schedule and prioritize repairs.

Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs, including parts inventory.

Adhere to safety guidelines and practices at all times.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Large Equipment Mechanic, with a focus on heavy construction equipment.

Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues.

Strong knowledge of diesel engines and related systems.

Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and technical drawings.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Commitment to safety and adherence to all relevant regulations.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or relevant education is a plus.

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Large Equipment Mechanic in heavy civil construction, specifically diesel equipment.

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment parts and tools.
