Job Title: Seasoned Carpenter

Job Overview: We are seeking a seasoned carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in residential construction, including framing, drywall installation, painting, cabinet installation, and hanging mirrors. This role requires someone who has worked as a laborer, gaining hands-on experience and is now ready to step into a leadership position.

Responsibilities:

Perform all aspects of carpentry work, including framing, drywall installation, painting, cabinet installation, and mirror hanging.

Lead and supervise a team of carpenters and laborers on job sites.

Ensure that all work is completed according to project specifications, building codes, and safety standards.

Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure successful project completion.

Train and mentor junior carpenters and laborers, providing guidance and support as needed.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment on job sites.

Manage materials and equipment, ensuring proper use and storage.

Communicate effectively with team members, project managers, and clients to address any issues or concerns.

Adhere to project timelines and budgets, working efficiently to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.

Contribute to the overall success and growth of the company by providing input and ideas for process improvement and innovation.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 6 years experience working as a carpenter in residential construction.

Proven experience in framing, drywall installation, painting, cabinet installation, and mirror hanging.

Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.

Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.

Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and craftsmanship.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges and opportunities.
