About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Retail Excellence and Beauty GTM, this role is responsible for managing and executing our salon partner program either with direct relationships for top tier or through our distributor in the market.
This role is also responsible for creating the ideal learning environment to help hairstylists inspire and promote advocacy to Dyson technology and machines through in-salon, classes, and all other shows and events that deliver Salon sales targets. It will require intermittent supervision as incumbent will be working independently most of the time in the field directly with our brand, distributor and salon partners.
Main responsibilities include but not limited to:-
Deliver annual sales (volume and revenue) to plan as part of the 2024 vision
Analyse our sales run rates by partner and distributor to understand opportunities and effective ways to deliver our plan
Contribute to and implement channel strategies that optimise salon opportunities and Dyson profitability in line with Australian goals
Effectively manage spend budget to deliver the best return on investment
Own the forecasting process working collaboratively with the salon partners
Understand and strengthen the relationship between Dyson and external salon/stylist
Develop relationships and manage distributor partnerships as well as direct relationships with top tier salons
Participate in all corporate events and support Dyson events and shows as directed
Execution of national education initiatives including planning and execution of product launch and events
Execute social media activation & partnership opportunities to drive Dyson education social awareness and influence
Master the basics but also deliver fresh thinking – look at innovative ways to reach stylists to ensure that Dyson ‘owns’ the Professional Hair Tools space
Conduct regular trainings with Dyson Exclusive salon’s stylists to reinforce education support to drive advocacy within stylists, Dyson brand Story, Fundamental Classes. These combined classes need to equal to at least 25 classes a month
Develop relevant quizzes to ensure stylists understands Dyson’s technology & USP
Provide quarterly updates to Dyson Exclusive salons communicating Dyson technology, machines and Dyson programs/initiative
Build effective working relationships with stakeholders in the internal team & external stylists to ensure alignment on salon programs
Demonstrate Dyson technology & machines to new Dyson salons
Implement and execute education plans for new partner salons to achieve organic advocacy in new Dyson Salons and stylists
Introduce Dyson Salon programs and encourage stylist’s participation
About You
To be successful in this role you will have strong ability to engage, influence and motivate key internal and external stakeholders to work towards a common goal. You can demonstrate resilience with a never-say-die attitude and a strong desire to win. You will be a broad thinker with strong business acumen and analytical skills with the ability to use market analysis to identify high potential opportunities.
Previous skills & experience:
Diploma or experience in a related field required
Solid salon/educational industry experience
Superior technical hairdressing and communication skills
Knowledge of business and educational aspects of the Salon Industry
Strong facilitation and coaching skills
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
