Minimum requirements:
Matric and relevant Diploma/Degree in Logistical or Operational Management
At least 5-6 Years experience in a similar role
Basic computer literacy
Valid drivers license and own reliable transport
Working overtime as and when required - after hours as well as weekends might be needed
Key responsibilities:
Maintain a safe working environment and compliance to OHS act
Ensure adherence and continuous compliance to all relevant standards ISO, Food Safety ETC
Ensure all dispatch targets and deadlines are met OTIF and good tons delivered
De-bottlenecking of dispatch thus ensuring maximum output from production and eliminating stoppages due to dispatch full
Eliminating of redundant dies and stereos
Cost saving measures and initiatives implemented
Efficient planning of factory ensuring maximum output
Ensure all standards are met of external authorization bodies to ensure continuous accreditation
Effective communication with external contractors regarding truck availability, scheduling and requirements on daily, weekly and monthly basis
