Project Manager: Civil

As a Civil Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing construction and infrastructure projects, from inception to completion. Here's what you'll be doing:

ð ï Developing comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.

ð Coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables meet quality standards, deadlines, and budget constraints.

ð Identifying and mitigating project risks, while ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.

ð Preparing and reviewing project proposals, contracts, and documentation.

ð § Conducting site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and adherence to specifications.

ð Maintaining detailed project documentation and facilitating communication among stakeholders.

ð Identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost savings, and providing recommendations to senior management.

To excel in this role, you'll need:

ð A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, along with professional certifications and registrations (ECSA/SACPQSP, SACPCMP, PMI).

ð § Five years of experience in project management within the construction industry, including large-scale projects.

ð Strong technical expertise in construction or engineering, as well as proficiency in project management software and tools.

ð Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

ð ¥ï Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.

ð ª The ability to work independently, while effectively guiding and leading supporting staff.
