As a Senior Electrical Building Services Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of construction projects, ensuring they meet client requirements and industry standards. Here's what you'll be doing:
ð Developing electrical building services construction project specifications and designs based on client needs and building standards.
ð Collaborating closely with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure design feasibility and compliance with project requirements.
ð ¥ï Utilizing computer-aided design (CAD), Revit, and Building Information Modeling (BIM) software to create and refine project designs, including 3D models and animations.
ð Conducting feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses to assess new designs and construction techniques.
ð Maintaining detailed project and contract documentation, including design reports, drawings, and specifications.
ð ï Ensuring construction projects meet statutory, regulatory, safety, reliability, and sustainability standards.
ð Identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost savings, providing recommendations to senior management.
ð ¥ Leading project team meetings and providing guidance and support to team members.
To excel in this role, you'll need:
ð A degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, along with professional registration with ECSA as a Professional Engineer.
ð § At least 10 years of engineering experience, with 5 years specifically in domestic/low voltage design and construction management.
ð Strong technical expertise in engineering design and construction, with proficiency in industry-specific software such as ACAD, BIM, and Revit.
ð Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
