SCADA Engineer

Our client is a growing systems integrator specializing MES and SCADA solutions. They are actively looking for an experience SCADA Engineer to join their team in their Montreal, Quebec office on a permanent basis. This is a Bilingual (French & English) position. In this role you will be responsible for leading and contributing to requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and commissioning of SCADA and MES solutions.

Responsibilities:

· Designing and developing SCADA, PLC and MES applications and systems.

· Delivering successful implementations as per client requirements, budget, and schedule.

· Writing technical documentation including requirements specifications, design specifications, and test protocols for SCADA, PLC and MES solutions.

· Providing advice and technical consultation to clients.

· Installing and commissioning systems at client facilities.

· Developing and delivering end-user training.

· Providing ongoing support to clients.

Requirements:

· Bilingual in French and English.

· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical or Computer Engineering preferred).

· Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Quebec.

· 5+ years of AVEVA (formerly Wonderware) SCADA experience required.

· 5+ years of Rockwell or Schneider PLC programming experience.

· Proven experience with Microsoft SQL Server or other database technologies.

· Proven experience commissioning solutions in production environment.

· Demonstrated success in project execution, collaboration with team members and clients.

· Strong organizational skills and ability to work with minimal supervision

· Ability to be client-facing and work directly with clients, including consulting experience including requirements gathering and on-site commissioning.

· Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skill.

· Excellent written and oral communications skills.

· Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle is required.

· Willingness to travel to client sites.
