SOCIAL WORKER MSW-SHP AWS

As part of the School Health Program, the Social Worker will:

Work with the student population in the Bronx providing a range of direct and indirect services to children, adolescents, and their families

Assess and treat mental health concerns, crisis intervention, and parent/guardian and team collaboration around safe and timely discharge and treatment planning

Comply with the mission statements of Montefiore and Social Services and the code of ethics of the National Association of Social Work is required

School Site: IS 145 10 Month position

REQUIREMENTS

Master's in Social Work

LMSW /LCSW (preferred) - must have licensure to independently diagnose and treat, and for billing purposes
