Job Description
Function
Responsible for all aspects of producing Aluminum Polymer Coated Magnet Wire safely and efficiently including staging, set up, testing, packaging, documentation and the integrity of the equipment and infrastructure used in the process.
Duties and Responsibilities
Follow Production Orders, ISO Work Instructions, Safe Work Instructions and other production documents
Perform routine preventative machine maintenance
Select and stage proper supplies and feed stock; string up machines; set machine and controls for proper operation
Continuously monitor production to assure product meets specifications
Maintain optimal efficiency and productivity and minimal scrap
Perform start-up and periodic quality testing
Repair insulation as needed
Maintain safe machine operation
Maintain production records
Weigh, package, label, palletize and stage product for distribution
Safely load and unload raw materials and finished goods
Maintain high level of housekeeping and maintenance throughout facility
Qualifications Required:
High school diploma or GED
Knowledge of safety, distribution and manufacturing best practices
Skill in handling and prioritizing multiple tasks safely and efficiently
Must have a high level of mechanical aptitude and experience in the use of basic hand tools and measuring devices
Qualifications Desired:
Fork Lift Certified
