Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Communications Representative to join our team. As a communications representative, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining effective communication strategies and channels to promote our organization and engage with our stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive communication plans to support organizational goals and initiatives.

Create engaging content for various communication channels, including website, social media, newsletters, and press releases.

Manage media relations, including building relationships with journalists, preparing press releases, and responding to media inquiries.

Coordinate and participate in public relations activities, such as conferences, events, and interviews.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency in messaging and branding.

Monitor communication metrics and provide regular reports to management, suggesting improvements based on data analysis.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.

Proven work experience in communications, public relations, or a similar role.

Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt content to different audiences and communication channels.

Experience in media relations, including press release writing and pitching stories to journalists.

Proficiency in using social media platforms and content management systems.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze communication metrics and make data-driven decisions.
