Recognized for two consecutive years as Canada’s Fastest ISP, telMAX has ambitious plans to bring its 100% fibre networks to residential and business customers in Ontario.Your Position & How You Will Contribute:We are seeking a Strategic Network Planner to lead our Fiber to the Home (FTTH) market build initiatives.

In this position you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to drive the expansion and success of our FTTH network.

This position requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and an understanding of the telecommunications industry.

You will have an important role in fulfilling our mission of limitless possibilities and lightning connections which is delivered by our award winning fibre internet service.

PC Mag awarded telMAX “Canada’s fastest internet service provider” in 2022 and 2023, an award we aspire to win also in 2024.

Responsibilities & Key Duties include:comprehensive FTTH market entry/build strategies and product development strategies.comprehensive market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges.short-term and long-term strategic plans for the deployment and expansion of FTTH networks, in alignment with market studies, organizational goals and objectives.plans, unit costing including budgeting and resource planning.the development of business cases, financial models, and investment proposals to support FTTH projects and initiatives.with cross-functional teams to adapt our deployment plan to changing priorities and market conditions.with regulatory and municipal relations to ensure our FTTH build processes comply with their governance.risks and opportunities associated with FTTH projects and develop strategies to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success of FTTH initiatives.strategic plans and initiatives to all relevant leadership and interested parties within the organization and fostering collaboration across departments to ensure alignment with plans.with senior leadership to define clear and achievable long-term goals and objectives for the organization.to emerging technologies and innovations, recommend adoption strategies to maintain competitiveness.Attributes:communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.to thrive in a growing, fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage ambiguity and changeEducation:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or related fields.Experience:planning, business development, or related roles in the telecommunications industry.analytical skills and ability to translate data and insights into actionable strategies and recommendations.communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.working in cross-functional teams and managing multiple stakeholders.of FTTH technologies, market dynamics, and regulatory landscape.to thrive in a growing, fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage ambiguity and changeNote: This job description is intended to convey information essential to understanding the scope of the Strategic Network Planner's position.
