Canine Handler

Job Description

BARKS is a modern, off-leash dog daycare and boarding facility. We are seeking full-time and part-time Canine Handlers. Handlers are responsible for the supervision of play groups, the safety of dogs under our care, and the cleanliness of our facility per established company protocols.

Handlers supervise play groups with dogs of various breeds and sizes and see to the general cleanliness and up-keep of the facility. Specific cleaning requirements include timely pick-up of solid and liquid animal waste, and disinfection of floors, bowls, turf yards, and other surfaces as required.

**BARKS now offers an incremental increase in hourly bonus pay to promote employee retention. Bonus rates increase by $0.25 per hour every thirty (30) days until ninety (90) days of continuous employment; new hires can expect up to a $0.75 increase in their hourly bonus pay by ninety (90) days. At which time, their probation period ends, and eligibility for an additional base salary hourly rate increase is assessed. Company Description
