Job Description
Our Traveling Fuel Technicians are testing and calibrating meters on jobsites in the field. Technicians make minor repairs to fueling systems and compile reports that are submitted to the Department of Agriculture & our clients. *Candidate must be in a 60 mile radius of Geneva, OH*
- Travel Perks: Explore the multi-state area with all travel expenses covered, including a generous per diem.
Must be willing to travel in a multi-state area, in some cases being away from home weeks to months at a time. Extensive travel is required for this role. (Hotels and a generous per diem is provided).
- Competitive Pay: Enjoy a competitive hourly rate of $17.00, with an average of 12-15 hours of overtime per week paid at time and a half (roughly 25.00/ hour)
- Advancement Opportunities: Perform well, and you could advance to a foreman role with an hourly wage increase.
Responsibilities
Precision meter calibration for retail petroleum customers.
Minor maintenance on fueling systems.
Assistance with equipment setup and site preparation.
Driving a company-owned vehicle (CDL not required).
Qualifications
Mechanical background, experience with hand tools, and trades or industrial/commercial settings are a plus.
Physical capability: lifting 10-50lbs, kneeling, bending, handling, reaching, and standing.
Independent work ability and effective communication skills.
Basic technology knowledge for documentation.
Must be able to pass a company paid DOT physical & drug screen and possess a clean driving record.
