HQ Aero is currently recruiting for a MRO T700 ENGINE TECHNICIAN in STROUD, OK - DIRECT HIRE

Our customer, a leading turbine engine repair, maintenance, and overhaul (MRO) company specializing in the Client T53, Pratt & Whitney PT6A & PT6T, and Client T700 currently has a position open for an experienced T700 Series Technician.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in the teardown, disassembly, inspection and assembly on T700 or CT7 engines.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Ability to operate hand tools, power tools and measuring instruments necessary to perform job assignments.

Minimum five (5) years' work experience in aviation maintenance environment.

Must be able to meet FAA Part 65 (work, education, or a combination of both).

Demonstrated organizational and interpersonal skills.

Must have manual dexterity required for technician.

Thorough knowledge of inspection and measurement techniques and equipment.

Ability to read technical Data (Manuals/blueprints).

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proficient Computer skills including electronic mail, Microsoft Word and Excel.

Must pass pre-employment drug screening and be available for random drug and alcohol screenings while employed.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

None

Duties/Responsibilities:

Performs complete engine disassembly.

Performs inspections on engine components and assemblies in accordance with establish technical data and best shop practices.

Documents measured results throughout the Maintenance and overhaul process.

Ensures proper completion of paperwork and reports, documenting Maintenance, repair, overhaul and inspection procedures and findings.

Performs assembly of disassembled engines.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent.

A&P License preferred but not required.

Five years of T700/CT7 engine experience required.

Client, Client or Pratt & Whitney engine experience a plus.

Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written or verbal English.

Valid driver's license required.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift 30 LBS.
