Electrical/Facility Maintenance Assistant

The Facilities Management Assistant is responsible for supporting the Facilities Department in the day-to-day operations and improvement of the facilities, performing all aspects of facilities maintenance, preventative maintenance, in accordance with OSHA, ISO, state/ local and company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform facility maintenance and preventative maintenance on 480Volt Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry, HVAC systems and Over Head Cranes and Doors.

Applies various welding techniques (Mig, Tig, Arc, etc.) for fabrication and repair purposes.

Read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, electrical schematics, service manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance activity.

Assist in setting up and maintaining parts and supplies inventory.

Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

High School Diploma

1-3 years of Manufacturing Maintenance experience

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safely rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

High Voltage (480Volt) Electrical and Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
