Vice President Finance

We are currently assisting our client, a global company based in Dayton, OH, with a VP of Finance search. Reporting to the President the successful candidate will be responsible for all long-range financial matters and to establish company-wide financial and administrative objectives, policies, programs, and practices for sound financial structure.

Responsibilities:

Establishes and executes programs for the provision of capital required by the business, including negotiating the procurement of capital and maintaining the required financial arrangements.

Manage the cash flow position of the company.

Directly supervises employees in Accounting and IT Departments.

Approves all agreements concerning financial obligations, such as contracts for products or services.

Oversees and assists Controller in all their duties including reviewing plant operations and costs, which will require a presence in the plant regularly.

Provides advice on all matters to the President and assists in the formulation of overall corporate objectives.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA or CMA preferred

10 years' relevant experience

Strong leadership skills required

Familiarity with accounting and spreadsheet applications is required
