Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Engineer

Job Title: Infrastructure as Code Engineer (TS/SCI Cleared)

Location: Herndon, VA

Duration: Direct Hire, Permanent

Salary: $120-160,000 (Based on Experience)

Responsibilities:

Responsible for provisioning and configuring infrastructure across the DevOps architecture using code and APIs.

Implement virtual machines in the cloud using AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.

Responsible for infrastructure provisioning and configuration management across the DevOps architecture (including CI/CD pipelines).

Responsible for creating, modifying, and deleting infrastructure using code and APIs.

Qualifications:

BS in Computer Science / System Engineering (or related career field)

8570 Compliant (Sec+ or equivalent cert)

3+ years software integration and application administration experience for complex computer systems including 3rd party software integration.

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform

Strong understanding of infrastructure as code principles and best practices

Solid skills and experience in some (ideally all) of the following:

Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Windows, ESXi/VMware

Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery

AWS CloudFormation

Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes

Containers and Orchestrators

Databases and Data Storage

Source Control and Code Repository Tools

Experience with DoD systems (Cyber/ISR Systems Preferred)
