Construction Engineer

This position is for a Mechanical Construction Engineer with a background in large-scale industrial construction.

Must Haves:

* 5+ years of experience within mechanical equipment

* Pumps, agitation, bulk material handling equipment

* Design reviews, inspections, inspecting off site and onsite equipment

* Reviewing equipment and designs

* Any piping background is a HUGE PLUS

* Degree in engineering

* EIT or PE (plus)

* 5+ years of relevant industry experience (heavy industrial, oil & gas, complex chemical plants) -- 5-10 is the sweet spot

* Previous experience on $200M+ projects, preferably with experience on both "owner" and "contractor" side

* Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation skills are a must

* Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications

* High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Navisworks Manage, and scheduling software (Primavera P6)

* Proven ability to identify field issues and propose efficient solutions

* Willingness to spend a high percentage of time in the field and to get hands dirty as needed to complete objectives or find the correct information

* Ability to work within a high-performance, cross-functional organization with extremely tight timelines and aggressive goal
