We are recruiting a Fuel Cell System Engineer

Your main missions will be the following:

• Develop and design fuel cell systems, considering efficiency, performance, and environmental impact. Conduct feasibility studies and simulations to optimize fuel cell system configurations.

• Prototype and test fuel cell components and systems to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement. Analyze test data to validate and refine fuel cell designs.

• Select appropriate materials for fuel cell components, considering factors such as durability, conductivity, and cost. Evaluate and test materials for compatibility within fuel cell systems.

• Integrate fuel cell systems into various applications, such as transportation, stationary power, or portable devices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other system components.

• Optimize fuel cell system performance through adjustments to operating parameters and system controls. Identify and address issues related to efficiency, durability, and reliability.

• Stay abreast of advancements in fuel cell technology and contribute to ongoing research and development initiatives.

• Explore innovative approaches to enhance fuel cell efficiency and performance.

• Ensure fuel cell systems comply with industry regulations and standards. Collaborate with regulatory authorities to obtain necessary certifications for fuel cell products.

• Maintain detailed documentation of fuel cell designs, testing procedures, and results. Prepare technical reports and presentations for internal teams and external stakeholders.

Your profile:

Experience: At least 3 years of proven experience in fuel cell system design and development •

Knowledge of electrochemical processes, materials science, and thermodynamics • Familiarity with simulation tools and software used in fuel cell design • Experience with prototyping, testing, and analyzing fuel cell components • Experience in automotive electric systems including high voltage components • Knowledge in multi-physics, fluid mechanics, thermal, electrical • Operational and able to go on bench and develop on physical system • Hands on experience with automotive communication protocols

Computer Skills: • MATLAB/Simulink • Vector Tools: Vector CANape, CANAlyzer, CANoe • Proficiency in C/C++, Python programming

Other Skills: • Excellent ability to work in a team in an agile environment • Excellent ability to take subjects and work on them independently• Willingness to learn and advance in a changing and new environment • Pro-activity in problem solving • High degree of organization

Education & Certifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mathematical physics or a related field.

The salary range for this position is $100,000 USD to $150,000 USD. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered.

This position is not a remote position. You must be able to commute to Temecula, CA on a weekly basis.
