Loan/Mortgage Product Manager - Direct Hire

Location: Irving, TX (Hybrid)

The Product Manager spearheads the exploration of product strategy, charts the product roadmap, defines product feature specifications, manages product development, and coordinates multiple functional areas to create solutions and customer experiences aligned with the business strategy, missions, and values.

Primary Responsibilities:

Deeply comprehend customer journeys and their needs, understand the system and regulatory environment, and stay abreast of current technologies in the banking industry.

Partner with business stakeholders and technology leaders to identify and plan product capabilities roadmap to meet business objectives and long-term goals.

Develop a product vision and strategy, identify new opportunities, and create a shared understanding throughout the organization to foster agreement on the importance of product features and the sequence of feature delivery.

Overcommunicate product strategy, updates, roadmaps, and progress to all stakeholders, ensuring organizational decisions align with the product direction.

Manage product requirements, prioritize the needs of diverse stakeholders, translate needs into product feature requirements, and coordinate with cross-functional teams for product design.

Be responsible for product development, manage the product backlog, prioritize features, and coordinate multiple streams of development efforts.

Capture holistic business architectures supporting the products, including customer experience, business process, information systems, data flow, and governance.

Oversee user acceptance testing, ensuring the developed product meets the expectations of business stakeholders and customers.

Take responsibility for the product's overall success by setting timelines and goals, aligning the product roadmap, and tracking progress and performance.

Coordinate with development teams, sales and marketing, member communication, business functional stakeholders, and customer support to ensure successful product launches.

Research and analyze the quality of product and service, customer usage, and feedback, driving innovation for continuous product improvement.

Assume additional responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, computer science, engineering, or management information systems; MBA or marketing graduate degree is preferred.

Demonstrable experience (5+ years) in software product management or equivalent, with a successful history of delivering customer-oriented, complex software solutions.

Certification in Agile Product Management or Scrum Product Owner is required.

Excellent communication skills, strategic thinking, collaboration, and empowerment of others.

Advanced ability to develop and articulate business cases, influence diverse stakeholders, and drive consensus to achieve common goals.

Experienced (5+ years) in business strategy and roadmap development, including identification, prioritization, business case development, roadmap creation, and product backlog building.

Strong design thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Demonstrable experience in requirements elicitation, expert ability to manage diverse stakeholder needs, and translate those needs into product feature requirements.

Advanced experience in implementing Agile and Scrum development methodologies.

Excellent presentation, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills required; must be able to work effectively with all levels of Bank personnel and customers.

Experience working effectively through ambiguity, with the confidence to make difficult decisions and lead through adversity, focusing on achieving the right outcomes.
