3PL Station Manager - Dallas, Texas

Position: Domestic 3PL Station Manager

Location: Dallas, Texas

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Oversight: Oversee daily operations of the Dallas station, ensuring seamless coordination of freight forwarding services, including TL, LTL, customs processing, crating & palletizing, heavyweight air, hot shots, special handling, domestic freight, and international freight.

Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of logistics professionals, ensuring they deliver the highest levels of service.

Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for key clients. Address concerns, resolve disputes or misunderstandings, and ensure that all client needs are addressed.

Cost Management: Optimize operations to reduce costs while maintaining service quality. Monitor and control expenses to ensure profitability targets are met.

Supply Chain Efficiency: Continuously assess and improve supply chain processes to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Compliance & Regulation: Ensure compliance with all local, state, federal, and international regulations related to transportation and logistics. Oversee customs processing for international shipments.

Vendor Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and other vendors to ensure high-quality service and competitive pricing.

Strategic Planning: Work closely with senior management to develop and implement strategic plans that align with company objectives and market demand.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in 3PL or logistics management, preferably in a cross-border setting.

Strong understanding of domestic and international freight processes.

Proficiency in logistics software and tools.

Excellent leadership and team management skills.

Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience in a similar role within the Dallas market.

Knowledge of customs processing and regulations.

Certification or additional training in supply chain management or related fields.
