They are currently recruiting for an MRO Lead Technician in Allen, TX.

Salary: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 annually

A Day in the Life of an MRO Lead Technician

As the MRO Lead Technician, you will directly report to the Finance Controller and functional report to the Head of the MRO. You will be responsible for investigating, repairing, and controlling aerospace mechatronic parts in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications

Essential Duties of The MRO Lead Technician

To perform maintenance and preventive maintenance on aircraft parts for which the repair station is rated.

To inspect for potential failures on mechatronic parts with the help of a test bench and maintenance manual.

To create a scope of work to repair the mechatronic parts and develop a quote for customer approval.

To repair and inspect parts in accordance with the maintenance manual.

To document the maintenance and inspection of the mechatronic parts.

To supervise individuals assigned to the maintenance shop who also perform maintenance and preventive maintenance on the parts for which the repair station is rated.

To respect the cycle time and manage priorities.

Requirements

License/Certification

Supervisor (as defined in CFR 145.153)

Experience

MUST HAVE 18 months or more experience of repairing aerospace-type electromechanical or mechatronics components

Experience with dedicated test benches and common mechanical/electronic tooling

Competency & Skill

Good electronic and mechanic knowledge

Ability to work independently according to industry standards and federal regulations

Ability to always act in a safe and professional manner.

Ability to follow the manufacturer’s component maintenance manual and repair station manual always.

Ability to communicate clearly with your manager and to request help in case of any doubt.

Ability to read assembly and component drawing

Ability to write reports

Software skills (ERP JD Edwards, Excel)

Team spirit to succeed in mentoring (learning and teaching)

Education

High School Diploma or GED
