Annual Salary Range : $100,000-$130,000
What you will be doing:
We are looking for a talented and experienced Logistics Manager who will oversee all aspects of the finished goods transportation network in North America, with the objective of improving operational efficiency by strengthening communications and enhancing customer satisfaction through the delivery of an efficient, low-cost network. Reporting to the Director of Logistics (NA), the successful candidate will have responsibility for a budget of more than $60MM US amongst over 40 3PL logistics providers and warehouses. This candidate will be well-versed in cross-border shipping, plus imports from overseas and will ensure compliance with CT-PAT procedures and practices.
What you bring:
Data-driven, responsible to establish and share KPI’s
Experience and proven track record in launching and scaling Transportation Management Systems (TMS) TMS
Excellent leadership, problem solving and organizational skills to effectively spearhead new initiatives
Working knowledge of SAP required
Hands-on Customs and CT-PAT experience (international freight a plus)
University degree with a minimum of 7 years Transportation (Dry Van, Intermodal) experience
Relevant designation in logistics, supply chain, and/or transportation (CITT, CPIM or PMAC) is an asset
Proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook)
Well connected with 3PL transportation network
Strong communicator that excels in high volume, fast paced environment
A hands-on leader ready to jump in and learn the ROCKWOOL way
