Job Posting Summary:

Seeking an experienced Aerospace Purchasing and Planning Specialist with a strong background in supply chain management to ensure optimal vendor relationships, manage inventory, and support production processes.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in purchasing, buying, and/or planning, preferably within the aerospace industry.

Strong knowledge of purchasing principles and procedures.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Ability to effectively negotiate and solve problems.

Capable of working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Preferred Skills:

Aerospace industry background.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Job Responsibilities:

Source, negotiate, and select vendors that meet quality, price, and delivery requirements.

Develop and maintain effective relationships with vendors and suppliers.

Monitor supplier performance in terms of quality, cost, and delivery.

Review and analyze purchase requisitions; generate purchase orders.

Monitor inventory levels to maintain minimum stock requirements.

Ensure timely delivery of items and follow up with vendors on late orders.

Resolve invoice discrepancies with vendors.

Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.

Prepare reports on purchase activity and supplier performance.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge on company objectives, production strategies, and support activities.

Review job orders, establish priorities and schedules, and assist in processing customer orders and shipments.

Coordinate with managers to resolve production planning and control issues and develop inventory control techniques to avoid shortages and excesses.

Work with cross-functional teams to complete job orders on time and within specifications.

Plan and monitor material movement in production cycles to ensure continuous operations.

Develop dynamic planning of activities across multi-functional teams to ensure optimal sequence of work.

Communicate production updates to managers and customers regularly.

Assist in controlling production costs while maintaining quality standards.

Plan equipment, material, and manpower needs for job orders; monitor execution and adjust schedules for timely delivery.

Pay Details: $40.00 to $45.00 per hour
