Job Description
Full-time or part-time opportunity for a well-trained BC/BE primary care (family medicine or internal medicine) physician who is interested in joining a highly respected physician-owned, adult medicine practice in Silver Spring, Maryland. We are looking for a provider to help our services offered with the Montgomery County Homeless Shelters.
Responsibilities:
Assess and diagnose patients in an outpatient setting
Oversee, direct, and administer primary care of your panel of patients in our private practice clinic and the homeless shelter
Prescribe and administer pharmaceutical treatments and medication
Maintain patient electronic medical record data
Work with Practice Administrator to direct and manage the center care team (nursing staff, medical assistants, NP’s/PA’s, etc.)
Required Qualifications:
Medical Doctor (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) Graduate
Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Board Certification
Active, non-probationary, unrestricted MD State License (or eligible)
Active DEA license
US work authorization
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience operating in a Value-Based Healthcare Model
Spanish speaking a plus, but not required (our staff is bilingual)
Experience working in a collaborative setting to ensure positive health outcomes
Experience in outpatient primary care settings
