Job Description: We are currently seeking Temporary Foreign Workers approved under the Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) program to join our team as Long Haul Truck Drivers at Kour Freights Ltd.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to travel the highways and byways of North America while delivering goods safely and efficiently to our customers.

Job Location: Canada Salary: $20.00 -$25.00 hr Job Position: Lmia Long haul truck driver Job Type: Full Time, Permanent, Part-Time, 40-60 hours per week Education: High School or Diploma Degree Experience: 1-2 Basic Requirements Key Responsibilities: Long Haul Driving: Operate tractor-trailer combinations over long distances, following established routes and schedules.

Transport a variety of goods and commodities, including dry van, refrigerated, and flatbed cargo, while adhering to all applicable traffic laws and regulations.

Safety and Compliance: Maintain a clean driving record and comply with all safety regulations and company policies.

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and cargo to ensure safe operation and compliance with weight and size restrictions.

Cargo Handling: Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment and techniques, ensuring that freight is secure and properly distributed within the trailer.

Follow procedures for handling hazardous materials and dangerous goods in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Communication: Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members to coordinate pick-up and delivery schedules, report delays or incidents, and ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.

Use electronic logging devices and communication systems to maintain accurate records and stay connected while on the road.

Customer Service: Provide courteous and professional service to customers at pick-up and delivery locations.

Assist with the loading and unloading of freight as needed and address customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and respectful manner.

Qualifications: LMIA approval for Long Haul Truck Driver position.

Valid Class 1 or Class A commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.

Previous experience in long-haul trucking or commercial driving preferred.

Knowledge of DOT regulations and hours of service rules.

Strong navigational and problem-solving skills.

Physical stamina and the ability to sit for long periods and perform tasks requiring lifting, bending, and climbing.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
