Hikma-Solutions is looking for one of its clients for a "Claims Auditor for an International Team" in Luxembourg:

Freelance contract - remote possible

You will play a pivotal role in the embedded insurance project, which aims to integrate insurance into day-to-day sales or sharing services, thereby closing the insurance gap to simplify customers' lives.

You will be assigned to an international team - composed of various experts - dedicated to launching this new business in a startup and agile mode.

We expect you to naturally think outside the box, enjoy challenging dead ends, and find solutions when necessary to overcome obstacles.

To this end, we are seeking a Claims Auditor.

Your main responsibilities will include:

Coordinating claims processes with partners

Conducting onboarding, due diligence, and audits with third-party administrators (TPAs) or the partners' claims departments.

Monitoring and overseeing claim management in accordance with best practices on all major phases of claim handling, including coverage, investigation, compensability, evaluation/reserving, recovery, and resolution.

Collaborating with partners and the pricing and reporting actuaries on claims analyses (detecting trends, monitoring impacts of product adjustments, tracking claims development, etc.).

Actively participating in optimizing and streamlining processes.

Participating in the evaluation of opening reserves guidelines.

Validating claims payments when necessary.

Providing monthly KPIs in collaboration with the actuaries, participating in dashboard preparation.

Profile sought:

Several years of prior experience in a similar role is highly desirable.

Strong understanding of insurance policies, coverage provisions, and claims processes.

Excellent communication skills for interaction with internal stakeholders and external partners.

Fluent in English, ideally German as well. Any other language is a plus.

Familiarity with various types of insurance, such as property, casualty, motor, and liability, as well as relevant laws and regulations - international experience is a definite plus.

Strong analytical abilities to assess claims data, identify trends, and make informed decisions. Ability to analyze complex claims scenarios.

Customer orientation, professional rigor, critical thinking, and proactivity are expected, as well as

Agility and pragmatism in a complex and changing environment.

Occasional business trips to Luxembourg may be required for freelancers.
