SQL Database Developer

Adaptive Solutions Group is a premier provider of information technology personnel. We provide a variety of technical professionals available for contract, contract to hire, or direct placement positions to companies in and around the Kansas City and St. Louis areas.

We are currently looking for a SQL Database Developer to join our team.

Responsibilities

Managing current databases.

Helping with migration to new version of SQL Server.

Developing new stored procedures and SSIS packages to efficiently provide data for interval websites and analytic software.

Managing imports of data from third-party vendors.

Other tasks as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Experience in Microsoft SQL Server in a professional setting.

Experience creating and modifying stored procedures.

Experience creating and modifying tables, views, and functions.

Understanding of T-SQL queries.

Working knowledge of creating and maintaining SSIS packages.

Basic knowledge of performance tuning stored procedures and indexing.

Basic knowledge in developing and designing databases and data models.

Knowledge of C# scripting in SSIS packages preferred.

Experience troubleshooting and fixing bugs or faults in programming.

Attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to effectively multi-task.
