Summary: Provides project accounting support to project team to ensure timely and accurate reporting of project financial data.

Responsibilities: Based on assignment, responsibilities may include project set-up, commitment tracking, small purchasing, government property control, accounts payable, payroll, daily cost tracking, client billing and cost accrual information.
May supervise or lead other Project Accountants and/or Project Accounting assistant.
Forecasts and plans resources and requirements.
Qualifications/Competencies/Experience: In addition to Level 1,2, and 3 competencies, has depth and breadth of experience in own discipline; integrates knowledge of business and functional priorities Acts as a key contributor in a complex and critical environment May lead teams or projects; shares expertise Has developed depth and breadth of expertise in own discipline Applies in-depth skills and broad knowledge of the business to address complex problems and nonstandard situations Anticipates customer needs and identifies solutions Interprets internal/external business issues and recommends best practices in own discipline Manages costs for specific projects Solves complex problems; takes a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions Manages own time to meet objectives; forecasts and plans resource requirements Explains difficult concepts and persuades others to adopt a point of view Motivates other team members; may be team leader.
